From 10 AM to 3 PM at SCC, citizens can receive the first, second or third dose of the vaccine

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Vaccination continues this weekend at the SCC shopping center. On both weekend days, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, citizens will be able to get vaccinated, revaccinated, or receive a booster dose at the vaccination point.

Pfizer and Sinopharm vaccines are available.

Given the increase in the number of newly infected in the Sarajevo Canton, and the fact that most citizens have passed six months since their second dose, the population is urged to get vaccinated with booster doses in as large numbers as possible.   

According to the recommendations of the Expert Advisory Body for Immunization of the FBiH, the booster dose can be received by persons over 18 years of age no earlier than three months after receiving the second dose, if they have not had Covid-19. Persons who have recovered from Covid-19 and received two doses of the vaccine can receive this dose no earlier than six months after receiving the second dose.

We remind you, the campaign “Vaccination for citizens” of the Ministry of Health of the Sarajevo Canton was launched on November 6. In shopping centers in the Sarajevo Canton area, more than 6,000 citizens have been vaccinated in this way.

The Minister of Health of the Sarajevo Canton, Haris Vranić, will also receive the third dose of the vaccine during the weekend, and he called on all ministers in the Government of the Sarajevo Canton who can, as well as the expert services of the Government of the Sarajevo Canton, to respond to the public vaccination and thus also invite citizens to get vaccinated.
