Delivery of prefabricated houses from the Netherlands expected

There are no longer threats of floods and landslides, and Civil Protection is already preparing for the summer and working on prevention for the fire season, said Fahrudin Solak, acting director of the Federal Administration of Civil Protection for the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- Now our main goal is to help people rebuild their homes. That is why we no longer need pumps and generators as much as we need joinery, sanitary ware, construction materials, paint, jupol and other things - said Solak.

He also said that the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Netherlands contacted them, after being approached by people who want to help deliver prefabricated houses for the most vulnerable, especially those whose homes were damaged in landslides.

- That would be a temporary solution, until their homes are rebuilt. So that people stay in those panel houses, rather than in collective centers. A large number of people are still helping - said Solak, Patria reports.
