Traffic suspended over Romanija and Rogoj

(Patria) - Due to unfavorable weather conditions, traffic for heavy goods vehicles has been suspended over the Romanija and Rogoj passes. On the M-17.5 Risovac-Blidinje-Rakitno main road, the use of chains and winter equipment is mandatory for heavy goods vehicles.

On most roads in central and northern Bosnia, there is packed snow on the road surface, while in Herzegovina, we warn of wet road surfaces and occasional landslides. We appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution and not to set off without winter equipment. We draw attention to occasional strong gusts of wind, as well as frequent landslides.

Additionally, over the Borova Glava pass (Šuica-Livno), we warn of frequent wild horses appearing on the road.

On the Jablanica-Blidinje main road, traffic is still suspended due to road damage.

Works are underway on the M-17 main road in Donja Jablanica, at the Komadinovo Vrelo location, due to which traffic is intermittently slowed down, with possible short suspensions.

On the A-1 motorway section Podlugovi-Visoko, the overtaking lane is in use due to works on installing noise barriers at the construction site.

Other roads with ongoing works include the main roads: Pelagićevo-Srebrenik, Husino-Ljubače, Ormanica-Špionica, Turbe-Nević Polje, Klašnice-Šargovac, Lepenica-Han Ploča, and Čitluk-Ljubuški.

On the Rogatica-Ustiprača main road, due to bridge damage, vehicles up to 30 tons are using one lane, while traffic is suspended for vehicles over 30 tons.

At the Brod border crossing, there is a long queue of vehicles entering Bosnia and Herzegovina. At other border crossings, passenger vehicles do not wait longer than 30 minutes.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons maximum permissible weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Heavy goods vehicles over 5 tons are being redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Heavy goods vehicles can use the Šepak border crossing from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00.
