Traffic Suspension on Main Road M-15

BIH, (Patria) - Due to adverse weather conditions, traffic is suspended for all categories of vehicles on sections of the main road M-15 Livno-Šujica and Glamoč-Mlinište.

For the same reason, traffic is banned for all vehicles on the regional road R-419 Rakitno-Bildinje. 

Traffic is difficult and slow in higher areas of the western, northwestern and central parts of the country. 

The following routes are highlighted: Sarajevo-Rogatica, Trnovo-Foča, Sarajevo-Konjic, Sarajevo-Olovo-Kladanj, Kupres-Šujica-Tomislavgrad, Livno-Glamoč-Mrkonjić Grad, Livno-Bosansko Grahovo-Drvar and Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje-Prozor. 

Additional difficulties on roads in the areas of Livno, Tomislavgrad, Kupres, Glamoč and Bosansko Grahovo are caused by strong wind creating snowdrifts. 

The Winter Service Staff of the Federation of BiH has declared winter driving conditions, and accordingly, traffic is banned for towed vehicles on mountain passes where the road is snow-covered, until conditions for safe traffic are established. Also, if necessary, buses and trucks must use chains on drive wheels on mountain passes. 

Road maintenance crews are in the field, but due to extremely low temperatures, the effect of spreading material is slowed down. 

On the A-1 motorway, section Sarajevo west-Lepenica, due to an active landslide at the Ban Brdo site, traffic in the right tube of the Igman tunnel, as well as at the construction site, is redirected from the driving lane to the passing lane. 

Due to winter driving conditions in Croatia, traffic is suspended for trucks over 7.5 tons at the Izačić border crossing. 

At other border crossings, waiting times are no longer than 30 minutes, announced by the BIHAMK IC.
