Obuca: We will not allow BPK Goražde to become a subject of backroom dealing by the imposed FBiH Government

(Patria) - Former Prime Minister of BPK Goražde and current delegate in the federal House of Peoples, Aida Obuća, issued a statement after media reported that the FBiH Government intends to adopt a decision reducing funds allocated for the construction of the Prača-Goražde expressway by more than 10 million KM.

"Such an action shows not only that the Troika's cadres, despite all their stated and evidently declarative promises, demonstrate their disregard for our canton, but also jeopardize the implementation of existing and all future works on this project, which is key for our canton.

Namely, if the Government, at the proposal of the minister, adopts such a decision, it will jeopardize the implementation of the current tender of the Federation of BiH Motorways for the continuation of the construction of the Hranjen tunnel, as well as the entire project.

The question arises whether there is an agreement between the HDZ and the Troika parties at the expense of BPK Goražde.

I note that recently, due to the negligence of the imposed FBiH Government and the Government of BPK Goražde, more than 8.5 million KM in investments for our canton were lost; together with today's data, our canton will be deprived of more than 18 million KM in investments.

The SDA will react to this behavior and will not allow the destruction of our canton for the sake of political backroom dealing by the ruling regime," Obuća wrote on social networks.

According to information reported by some media today, the amendment to the decision on adopting the spending program for "Capital transfers to public enterprises - transfer for the construction of highways, expressways, main and other roads" has redirected part of the money from Goražde to Herzegovina, for the purpose of constructing the Mostar - Široki Brijeg - Border with the Republic of Croatia road.
