Footwear: Bosnia and Herzegovina one step closer to energy independence

(Patria) - With this historic act, we are creating strong foundations for the energy diversification of our country and opening the door to numerous benefits it brings.

This was stated by delegate in the Club of the Bosniak People and SDA Vice-President Aida Obuća, after the House of Peoples of the Parliament of FBiH, with 51 votes in favor, four abstentions, and 14 votes against, today passed the Bill on the South Interconnection Gas Pipeline BiH - Republic of Croatia.

South Interconnection Law Adopted

The House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation passed the Bill on the South Interconnection Gas Pipeline BiH - Republic of Croatia. 51 delegates voted for the Law, with 4 abstentions and 14 against. This law enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

"Thanks to the dedicated work of the Party of Democratic Action, we have managed to overcome all obstacles and realize this strategically important project.

We have remained consistent with our vision of an energy-independent Bosnia and Herzegovina, regardless of obstruction attempts by the ruling parties and those who appointed them, who today tell us through statements about the danger of the Russian energy threat.

A threat against which we have been fighting since the 90s, unlike them who allow representatives of Russian politics to hold executive power, even beyond the obligations of the Dayton arrangement.

Fortunately, such policies will soon be a thing of the past, in the same way that all totalitarian regimes have been defeated – by the democratic will of the citizens.

This success is the result of the joint action of all patriotic forces that have recognized the importance of this project for the future of our country.
