SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt, will address the German Bundestag today and speak about the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Bundestag session on Bosnia and Herzegovina is expected to begin at 2:00 PM.
As announced, Schmidt is expected to submit a report on the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Reactions from Germany, as well as the entire European Union, are still awaited regarding sanctions against individuals in Bosnia and Herzegovina, primarily the leader of the SNSD and member of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, who is the leader of processes that have blocked state institutions and attempted to usurp competencies and return them to the RS level.
The question arises whether EU countries will follow the example of the United States, and especially Germany, where a series of protests have been held in support of peace and stability in BiH.
Schmidt previously told German media that he believes unanimity in the EU for sanctions can be achieved.
