Obradović announces criminal charges against Vulin over statement on demarcation

BELGRADE, (Patria) - President of the Dveri movement Boško Obradović announced today that he will file a criminal complaint against Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin because of his statement advocating for demarcation with Kosovo Albanians, as, he said, he thereby showed that he "does not recognise the borders of his country and violates the Criminal Code".

"If Minister Vulin does not know where the borders of the state of Serbia are, let him repeat his geography lessons, because he may have missed that as well, just as he missed serving in the army, and let him read the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia, which he is obliged to defend as a minister of this country," Obradović stated.

Obradović assessed as particularly scandalous that, as he said, "precisely he, as the military minister in charge of defending Serbia, instead of worrying about Serbia's security, makes statements that are a prelude to instability and high treason".

"Aleksandar Vučić, Aleksandar Vulin, and anyone who thinks they can violate the Constitution, recognise the occupation of part of our territory, renounce territorial sovereignty and integrity - let them be sure that they will end up with a multi-year prison sentence under Articles 306 and 307 of the Criminal Code," Obradović stated.

Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin stated that he advocates for demarcation with the Albanians and, as he said, as soon as possible.

"Once we determine where the line is, we will be able to defend it," Vulin told Večernje novosti.
