Sebija Izetbegović, director of UKCS, has been carrying out a sort of purge of personnel for several days, thus initially dismissing Senka Mesihović-Dinarević, head of the Pediatric Clinic, Samira Hajdarević, head of the Financial, Accounting and Planning Sector, Zoran Hadžiahmetović, director of the Institute for Scientific Research, and Mirela Imširija, advisor for technical affairs, construction and public procurement at KCUS, but they have not yet received any official act regarding the dismissal, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
As the Patria agency learns, Izetbegović carried out the dismissal by invalidating the Statutory Decision made by the former UKCS Board of Directors, and these employees learned of their dismissal from the media.
Instead of Mesihović-Dinarević, Edo Hasanbegović was appointed, and in place of Samira Hajdarević comes Amra Karić, who was a member of the interim UKCS Board of Directors that appointed Izetbegović to head the largest hospital in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Instead of Hadžiahmetović, Dr. Enra Suljić was appointed (who was acting director before Izetbegović's appointment).
Also, Mirsad Kacila was appointed director of surgical disciplines, because the former head Haris Tanović went into early retirement. Additionally, after Rusmir Mesihović's resignation from the position of UKCS director on December 7, 2015, Tanović replaced Mesihović until the appointment of Suljić as acting director on December 9, but within 24 hours he managed to sign several retirement decisions for his colleagues.
