Reconstruction of road and housing fund in Žepče municipality

Director of the Federal Fund for Assistance to Disaster-Stricken Areas in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Jasmin Jaganjac yesterday in Žepče, together with the Prime Minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton Munib Huseinagić, Mayor of Žepče Mato Zovko, and director of the company “Hajdić” Kasim Hajdić, signed an agreement for the reconstruction of the Golubinja - Željezno Polje road, damaged in the floods of May and August 2014, reports Patria.

The contractor has committed to completing the works within 80 days from the date of commencement, and the value of the contracted works is 543,583.22 convertible marks. The funds have been secured from the Federal Fund.

Also, tripartite agreements were signed between the Federal Fund, the Municipality of Žepče, and the end beneficiaries of monetary donations. In this way, 321,300 KM has been secured from the Fund, which will fully resolve the housing issue for nine families whose houses were destroyed in the natural disaster. Four agreements relate to the purchase of a house or apartment, and five to the construction of housing units.

In addition to family members, the signing of the agreements was attended by the Federal Minister of Transport and Communications Enver Bijedić, Prime Minister of ZDK Munib Huseinagić, and the President of the Municipal Council of Žepče Muhamed Jusufović.
