Tread layer renewal on the first kilometers of the BiH highway to be completed in 15 days

Reconstruction works on Corridor 5c from Podlugovi to Jošanica will be completed in the next fifteen days, after which both lanes on this section of the first BiH highway will be put into operation, confirmed for the BiH news agency Patria from the state company Autoceste Federacije BiH.

Two weeks ago, works began on replacing the first layer on the highway from Podlugovi to Jošanica. This is the first nine kilometers of the highway that Bosnia and Herzegovina received 12 years ago. That layer is worn out and its replacement is currently underway.

In the sections where works are being carried out, traffic is proceeding in one lane, but no major traffic jams or delays have been recorded, reports Patria.
