New Public Calls from the Fund Announced: 16.7 Million KM for Employment and Professional Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities

(Patria) - The Fund for Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities of the Federation of BiH today announced two public calls totaling 16.7 million KM, aiming to improve employment, preserve existing jobs, and strengthen the professional capacities of persons with disabilities throughout the Federation of BiH.

The first public call, for the allocation of financial incentives for new employment and self-employment, was announced with an amount of 8 million KM. Employers who hire persons with disabilities can receive support ranging from 15,000 to 32,400 KM per employed person, depending on the degree of disability, employment conditions, and duration of employment. The funds are intended for adapting workplaces, procuring equipment and raw materials, financing salaries and contributions, as well as engaging a work assistant, thereby creating a stable and sustainable work environment. Support is also available to persons with disabilities who are starting an independent or agricultural business as their primary occupation. The public call remains open for 45 days, until April 13, 2026.

The second public call, worth 8.7 million KM, relates to the financing and co-financing of employment sustainability programs, the development of companies for the employment of persons with disabilities and sheltered workshops, and professional rehabilitation programs. The funds are allocated through five program areas (LOTs) covering the preservation of the existing employment level (2.4 million KM), the development of companies and sheltered workshops (3.6 million KM), professional rehabilitation programs for which persons with disabilities apply independently (120,000 KM), support for persons with disabilities engaged in independent or agricultural activities (2.4 million KM), and employment sustainability programs in organizations of persons with disabilities (180,000 KM). The call remains open for 30 days, until March 29, 2026.

By announcing these public calls, the Fund continues its continuous investment in an inclusive labor market, providing support to employers, organizations, and persons with disabilities themselves in creating sustainable job opportunities and enhancing professional potential.
