Public Call Published for Support of Projects by Associations of Persons with Disabilities, Soup Kitchens, and Safe Houses in FBiH

(Patria) - The Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Policy announced today that a public call has been published for the financing of projects by associations of persons with disabilities, soup kitchens, and safe houses in the Federation of BiH for 2026.

Funds for this support have been provided from revenue generated from fees for organizing games of chance.

A portion of the revenue generated in the budget of the Federation of BiH from this source, in accordance with the Law and the Decree on Criteria for Determining Beneficiaries and Methods of Distribution, allocated to the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Policy for 2026 amounts to a total of 840,000 KM.

All associations and organizations that implement projects in their work related to meeting the needs of persons with disabilities in terms of improving living conditions and the work of their organizations, then accommodation and shelter for victims of torture and violence (safe houses), as well as the operation of soup kitchens, are eligible to apply.

Projects or programs proposed for support by the commission that will review their correctness will be supported by the Ministry in maximum amounts of up to 30,000.00 KM per applicant from the field of meeting the needs of persons with disabilities, up to 30,000.00 KM per applicant from the field of accommodation and shelter for victims of torture and violence (safe houses), and up to 50,000.00 KM per applicant from the field of soup kitchen operations.

Detailed instructions on how to prepare documentation for the public call, as well as clarifications on what the project applying for this support should contain, have also been published along with the public call.

The deadline for submitting applications for this public call is 21 days from the date of the last publication in the daily newspapers.
