14th anniversary of the death of Macedonian President Boris Trajkovski near Mostar marked

MOSTAR, (Patria) - Fourteen years have passed since the tragic death of Macedonian President Boris Trajkovski and the Macedonian delegation in a plane crash near Mostar.

A delegation from the City of Mostar, Macedonian Minister for Improving the Investment Climate Zoran Sapurić, and representatives of other levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina marked the 14th anniversary of Trajkovski's death by laying flowers at Matića brdo in Rotimlja, Stolac municipality.

Trajkovski, along with his associates and crew members, died in a plane crash while arriving in Mostar for the International Investment Conference in 2004.

- This is an opportunity to remember the character and work of Boris Trajkovski, who strongly advocated for Euro-Atlantic integration of the Republic of Macedonia, as well as the entire region. He supported intensive regional cooperation and good neighborly relations - said Zoran Sapurić, Macedonian minister.
