Statehood Day marked in Potočari: Bosnia and Herzegovina is a state of all peoples living in it

(Patria) - Today, the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina was marked with a special program at the Srebrenica Memorial Center.

The commemoration was attended by mothers, family members of the victims of the Srebrenica genocide, children from the elementary school in Potočari, high school students from Sarajevo Canton, representatives of the authorities and independent trade unions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives of the associations Dobro.ba, MFS Emmaus, the platform 'Treba li šta.ba', youth associations, representatives of local communities, and citizens of our country.

The program began with the playing of the national anthem and the recitation of the Fatiha for those killed in the Srebrenica genocide and war victims from other cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

From the Memorial Center, today's commemoration conveyed the message that the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the homeland of Serbs, Croats, and Bosniaks, but also of all other peoples who live in it and consider it their only homeland, and that its state integrity must and should be preserved, especially today when that integrity is being attempted to be destroyed in various ways.
