BH Telecom Celebrates September 5th, Company Day

BH Telecom celebrated the company's anniversary today. Given that miners perished in the Raspotočje mine, tribute was paid at the beginning of the ceremony, reports Patria.

The General Director of BH Telecom, Nedžad Rešidbegović, recalled that in early September 1993, the international satellite connection of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Switzerland was launched using the code 387. 

The Executive Director of the Executive Directorate for Business Development of BH Telecom, Hamdo Katica, expressed regret over the accident that occurred and the coincidence that BH Telecom Day coincided with the time of a major mining accident, and extended condolences to the miners' families. 

- We at BH Telecom will try to mark the Company Day in a modest way, when the code 387 was first established, or when the first international telephone connection was established via that code since the beginning of the aggression against BiH - said Katica. 

BH Telecom, as emphasized, wants to provide all subscribers, as well as other citizens of BiH, with the best services and quality at the lowest prices.

- We are striving with all our might to improve the living and working conditions in BiH. On this occasion, I will announce the provision of a new set of telecommunication services in all segments that BH Telecom has, i.e., in the area of fixed and mobile networks and a special category we have named Moj izbor (My Choice), where the subscriber will combine all services and thus achieve a discount on their phone bill. We hope that this way of providing services will be well recognized. I must say with regret that the competition does not respond to our challenge or responds with insufficiently quality service on the same principle - stated Katica. 

Akif Šabić, an employee of BH Telecom, recalled May 2, 1992, when the PTT building on Obala was set on fire and destroyed, causing the disconnection of about 45,000 telephone numbers and breaking connections between thousands of their service users. 

Today, the monograph of BH Telecom titled “Strategic Planning in BH Telecom“ was also presented. 

This year too, on the occasion of the Company Day, BH Telecom has organized a promotion during September where it will be possible to become a user of BH Telecom services such as MojaTV, fixed telephone lines, xDSL, TopInternet, and many others for 1 KM, reports Patria.
