Marking Children's Week: Amel Tuka joined the little ones in a walk through Zenica

Children's Week is celebrated worldwide from October 1 to 7, aiming to draw attention to children and their position in the local community. The association "Naša djeca" from Zenica today organized and marked "Children's Week" with a fitting performance and program, reports a reporter from the Bosnian news agency Patria.

As in previous years, "Children's Week" was accompanied by a series of educational and entertaining events, and this year the best Bosnian athlete Amel Tuka joined, along with many other well-known figures from the city.

Today, there were also three ballerinas from the Ballet School "Ars Centar" who performed variations with which they presented themselves at European and world competitions this year and were the only representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Besides athlete Amel Tuka, there were also actor Saša Handžić, and members of the band Balkaneros, Rusmir Muharemović and Aldin Šehić.

- By marking "Children's Week" we try to draw attention to children and their position in the local community. This year, attention will be focused primarily on investments in children, as well as advocating for greater allocations when it comes to children and their needs. Children, members of the Children's Parliament of the city of Zenica, have designed a suitable program, in which they will send messages to adults and decision-makers, and brighten the day for the youngest with various games - said the association "Naša djeca".

Thus, today, symbolically, five minutes before 12 o'clock, a walk through the city square was held, and Tuka took photos with the children and signed autographs.
