Celebration of BiH Statehood Day begins with raising the BiH flag on Hum Hill

(Patria) - On the occasion of marking November 25 - Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, delegations from all levels of government will lay flowers and pay tribute on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the following locations:

- 09:00 Eternal Flame Memorial

- 09:30 Kovači Cemetery: Central Memorial and grave of the first President of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Alija Izetbegović

- 10:00 Memorial to the killed children of besieged Sarajevo 1992-1995

- 10:30 Vraca Memorial Park

As part of the observance of this significant date, the Sarajevo City Administration is organizing the raising of the BiH flag on Hum Hill on the same day at 08:30, and it is also planned that delegations will lay flowers at 11:00 at the city cemeteries Lav, St. Joseph, St. Mark, and the Stadion (Koševo) cemetery, and at 11:30 at the Memorial in front of the Novi Grad Sarajevo Municipality.

An invitation has been extended to members of the BiH Presidency, leaders of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH and the Council of Ministers of BiH, the President and Vice-Presidents of the Federation of BiH, as well as leaders of the Parliament and Government of the Federation of BiH, and representatives of the legislative and executive authorities of the Sarajevo Canton, the City of Sarajevo, and municipalities in the Sarajevo Canton area. Delegations of SABNOR and the Coordination of Veterans' Organizations of the Sarajevo Canton have also been invited.
