Statehood Day of BiH to be marked by raising the flag on Hum hill

(Patria) - The celebration of the Statehood Day of BiH, November 25, will traditionally begin with the raising of the BiH flag on Hum, organized by the City Administration of Sarajevo starting at 8:30 AM.

This will be followed by visits to memorial sites, cemeteries, and graveyards, where delegations from the Sarajevo Canton and all levels of government will lay flowers and pay tribute at the following locations:

- at 09:00 AM - "Eternal Flame" Memorial Site,
- at 09:30 AM - "Kovači" Cemetery: Central Memorial Site and the grave of the First President of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Alija Izetbegović,
- at 10:00 AM - Memorial Site for Children Murdered in Besieged Sarajevo 1992-1995, and
- at 10:30 AM - "Vraca" Memorial Park.

In addition to delegations from the Sarajevo Canton, members of the Presidency of BiH, leaders of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH and the Council of Ministers of BiH, the President and Vice-Presidents of the Federation of BiH, leaders of the Parliament and Government of FBiH, as well as representatives of the legislative and executive authorities of the City of Sarajevo and municipalities within the Sarajevo Canton are planned to attend this event. Delegations from SABNOR and the Coordination of Veterans' Organizations of KS have also been invited.

At 11:00 AM, a visit to the city cemeteries Lav, Sv. Josip, Sv. Marko, and the Stadion cemetery (Koševo) is planned, followed at 11:30 AM by laying flowers at the Memorial Site in front of the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo.
