Commemoration of the 22nd anniversary of the closure of the Sušica camp in Vlasenica

The commemoration of the 22nd anniversary of the closure of the Vlasenica camp Sušica will be organized on Saturday, September 20, 2014, it was announced by the Association of Camp Victims in BiH, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

The program includes the organization of the "March of Return on the Path of Salvation" which will this year again start from the Turalići local community in Kladanj towards the Sušica camp in Vlasenica. The gathering and departure of participants are scheduled for 07:00 AM on Saturday, 20.09.2014, in Turalići.

In the afternoon, after the midday prayer, a tevhid will be recited in the Hajrija mosque in Vlasenica, after which a column of mothers, women, children, and elderly people will proceed towards the Sušica camp where, around 3:00 PM at the entrance to the camp grounds, they will join the column of participants of the walking tour where a history lesson will be held.

After the history lesson, the column will move towards the Rakita cemetery, where a visit to the cemetery and appropriate addresses are planned.

The organizers of the commemoration of the 22nd anniversary of the closure of the Sušica camp are the Association of Camp Victims of BiH and the Mejlis of the Islamic Community Vlasenica, reports Patria.
