The 20th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide, where 8,372 men and boys were brutally killed, will be marked in Northampton, United Kingdom, on July 10, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
The commemoration will be held at the Central Mosque in Northampton after Friday prayers, organized by volunteers from the Remembering Srebrenica association.
Additionally, on July 11, gatherings will be held in several other cities of the United Kingdom—London, Cardiff, Edinburgh, and Belfast—on the Day of Remembrance for the victims of the Srebrenica genocide.
The Remembering Srebrenica association raises awareness about the genocide among the population in the United Kingdom.
