Security Roughly Carried Ranka Mišić Out of the RS National Assembly Session

After the Vice-President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, ordered the President of the Trade Union of Srpska, Ranka Mišić, to be removed from the assembly hall, the assembly security did so, reports BNTV, as reported by Patria.

Ranka Mišić was carried out of the assembly hall by hand, and, as she stated, it was done in the roughest manner.

Mišić says she started speaking from her seat, protesting the announcement of the start of the debate on the new Labour Law, but that the "security dragged her on the floor, pushed her, and threw her out of the Assembly building".

- This is not the path of democracy, but of enslavement - Mišić said.

She says she is banned from entering the parliament, but that she and the workers will continue to remain in front of the building of the highest legislative body.

She also addressed journalists in front of the parliament, where a number of trade union members and workers dissatisfied with the proposed Labour Law are still protesting behind a police cordon.

Mišić expressed dissatisfaction with the statement of the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, that "these are not workers' protests but an attempt to overthrow the institutions of Srpska", stating that this is not true.

Due to the removal of Ranka Mišić from the assembly hall, the opposition left the session.

NDP MP Dragan Čavić told BN TV that the opposition does not plan to return to the assembly hall for the continuation of the session on the Labour Law.

Shortly before leaving the session, Dragan Čavić, during his address, stated that the entire Government should be changed, first the Prime Minister, and then all the others, and Vukota Govedarica asked Nenad Stevandić to resign after the law is adopted.

The President of the Trade Union of Republika Srpska, Ranka Mišić, called on the workers who were protesting in front of the National Assembly of Srpska building to disperse, which they did.

In front of the parliament building, where the debate on the new Labour Law began without the presence of the opposition, only Mišić and the presidents of the branch unions remained.
