Disenfranchised workers in front of the Federal Parliament

About a hundred disenfranchised workers from several failed companies from the Tuzla Canton gathered in front of the FBiH Parliament building. "Armed" with banners, they are demanding their rights and settlement of obligations towards health and pension insurance. They are also protesting the amendments to the Bankruptcy Law, which they claim will not bring any changes in favor of the workers, writes Patria agency.

They expect to be received today by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Edin Mušić. The session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament is currently underway.

Workers from the Gračanica footwear factory Fortune, which has been in bankruptcy proceedings since the beginning of November, are protesting. Out of 1,200 workers, more than 200 have been declared redundant. There is no one to settle their obligations.

In addition to them, workers from Krivaja from Zavidovići, whose fate has not yet been decided, members of non-governmental organizations, and members of the Solidarity Union are also in front of the Parliament...
