(Patria) - Starting Monday, September 15, 2025, a speed control radar will be operational on the A1 highway at the exit of the Ivan tunnel, on the Tarčin – Bradina section.
The temporary end of the A1 highway and the need to slow down traffic, the location of the temporary exit from the highway, a very sharp curve immediately after exiting the right tube of the Ivan tunnel, and the proximity of the temporary Bradina toll station represent a potential danger for vehicle accumulation within the tunnel itself.
These factors can cause dangerous incidents, which is why measures have been taken to slow down traffic at the exit of the right tube of the Ivan tunnel towards the Bradina toll station.
All activities related to the installation, commissioning, and operation of the radar are carried out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, in accordance with the Law on the Fundamentals of Road Traffic Safety in Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Official Gazette of BiH", no. 6/2006, 75/2006 – corr., 44/2007, 84/2009, 48/2010, 48/2010 – other law, 18/2013, 8/2017, 89/2017, 9/2018, 46/2023 and 88/2023), police powers, and the signed Memorandum of Cooperation.
At the mentioned location, the speed limit is 60 km/h, and we call on all drivers to respect the posted traffic signs and prescribed limits.
JP Autoceste FBiH continues to cooperate with competent institutions with the aim of improving traffic safety on the highway in the Federation of BiH.
