Dozens of articles written about Šarčević, not a word about the Serb-Croat attempt to seize the BiH Constitutional Court

(Patria) - The Bosniak Club in the House of Peoples of the State Parliament, by leaving the session, managed to stop the joint Serb-Croat initiative on the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, i.e., to stop the voting on the Bill on the Constitutional Court of BiH, which would have introduced ethnic voting, thereby turning the Constitutional Court into a classic House of Peoples, and expelling judges appointed by the European Court of Human Rights from the Constitutional Court.

Delegates from the Serb and Croat Clubs (with the exception of Zlatko Miletić) showed that they do not mind a simple mathematical majority when voting in the legislative bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina when it comes to passing laws that weaken the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The public has not had the opportunity to hear from them that this is about outvoting the larger nation, because in the Serb and Croat Clubs, they believe that everything that is detrimental to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina is in the interest of the nationalist policies they represent.

They only talk about the outvoting of Serbs or Croats by Bosniaks when a pro-state mathematical majority is formed somewhere and on some occasion that adopts this or that law, decree, or appointment in the interest of the state, as was the case, for example, during the election of the current composition of the Central Election Commission when the HDZ and SNSD were left empty-handed in the House of Representatives of the State Parliament.

Parallel to the latest attempt to take control of the BiH Constitutional Court, as a separate part of the offensive against the Bosnian-Herzegovinian judiciary, the process of seizing the jurisdiction of the Court of BiH is also underway, also carried out by the SNSD and HDZ.

Unlike the Constitutional Court, the offensive is being carried out with the direct support of the Trojka, which, instead of discussing the Court's jurisdiction, keeps rambling about the location of the Court of BiH's Appellate Division. The Trojka seems not to know, or perhaps they do know, that the jurisdiction of the Court of BiH is much more important and what Milorad Dodik has been complaining about for years (in order to protect himself from prosecution) than the location where it should be housed.

The Trojka also knows that the Court's Appellate Division (which already exists) and the Supreme Court of BiH, which is yet to be established, are not the same thing.

However, encouraged by the empty talk about progress on the European path, they are clearly ready for such mystifications.

What is new is the fervor with which the Trojka is trying to present not only rotten but also dangerous compromises as success, when in reality it is a defeat for the state and a brutal attack on its institutions. Those who try to draw attention to such disastrous processes are not only a minority in the political and media spheres, but they are also slandered and accused of various witch hunts.

Thus, the Serb-Croatian attempt to take over the BiH Constitutional Court, as well as the seizure of the Court of BiH's jurisdiction, do not interest those who aspire to be the main interpreters of our social reality.

The judicial disempowerment of the state and Serb-Croatian dominance does not bother, or perhaps is even desirable for, an entire host of commentators, columnists, and professors.

Fra Drago Bojić, nor his student Franjo Šarčević, see any danger to the state and society in the SNSD and HDZ gaining control of the Constitutional Court.

The same does not worry Asim Mujkić, a professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo, who claims that those who write about these topics are privileged, while the "unprivileged" Mujkić, who is paid from the budget, among other things, does not comment on this topic.

The same applies to Dino Mustafić, who claims to be always on the side of the minority. Of course! Except in cases when Bosniaks are in the minority.

Therefore, as long as it is possible to insult and belittle March 1st without consequences, why worry about the Court and the Constitutional Court of BiH. Anything contrary to that, they say, is Bosniak nationalism. Probably, the attempt by the Serb and Croat Clubs to bring the BiH Constitutional Court under their control is also a legitimate fight against Bosniak demographic opportunism, radicalism, and nationalism.
