NSRzB: Liars will answer in court

In order to build a better future for the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, build a democratic society, respect journalistic ethics, respect the principles of truthful reporting and protect the dignity of the People's Party Work for Betterment and its officials, we hereby deny all the vile lies stated today on the portal poskok.info, it was announced from the People's Party Work for Betterment, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- Namely, it is a lie that there was any lobbying from the People's Party Work for Betterment and its deputy president in the direction of buying delegates. It is also a lie that the president of Boljitak, Mladen Ivanković Lijanović, was a candidate for delegate in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament. Everything stated is a lie. Today's text on the mentioned portal is a reflection of the obvious unprofessionalism and lack of transparency in the work of a media outlet.

We hereby inform the media and the entire public, as well as the authors of the text and the editorial staff of the poskok.info portal, that due to the mentioned lies and unverified information that brings into question the deputy president of the People's Party Work for Betterment, Jerko Ivanković Lijanović, a criminal complaint will follow.

Those who wrote, as well as all those who relayed the text, as credible media outlets, are obliged to verify information, determine what is true and present facts to the public, not to divert the attention of the citizens of this country, disenfranchised workers, hungry pensioners and the entire public from the crucial existential problems in which the country finds itself, based on the principle of hearsay. On this occasion, we invite the editors and journalists of web portals and other media that relay fabrications from the poskok.info portal to pay more attention in the future to everything that represents truth based on facts. We believe that increasing visits to web portals should not be based on copying lies. We also call on the institutions of the system to address this phenomenon more seriously.
