NSRS: Ruling majority voted to call a referendum on the verdict against Dodik

(Patria) - The ruling majority in the National Assembly of RS tonight adopted a decision to call a referendum regarding the decisions of the BiH Court and the Central Election Commission of BiH against the former president of RS, Milorad Dodik.

The referendum is scheduled to be held on October 25, 2025.

"Do you accept the decisions of the unelected foreigner Christian Schmidt and the verdicts of the unconstitutional Court of BiH issued against the president of Republika Srpska, as well as the decision of the CEC to revoke the mandate of the president of RS, Milorad Dodik?", the referendum question should read.

(Patria) - The ruling coalition in the smaller BiH entity, namely the parliamentary groups of SNSD, NPS-DNS, DEMOS-SPS, SP, and US, proposed a series of conclusions regarding the information about the decision of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of BiH on the termination of the mandate of the president

A series of conclusions from the parliamentary majority were also adopted, according to which the NSRs rejects the possibility of holding early elections for the president of RS, and demands that all political actors in RS, political parties, and individuals not apply for any early elections for the president of RS.

Also, one of the conclusions states that the NSRs does not accept and rejects the verdict of the unconstitutional Court of BiH issued to the president of RS, as well as the decision of the BiH CEC on the termination of the mandate of the president of RS, Milorad Dodik.
