NSBiH provided financial assistance to families of tragically deceased miners in Raspotočje mine

After it was decided at the session of the BiH FA Executive Board held on September 26 to provide assistance to the families of miners who died in the recent accident in Zenica, that decision was realized yesterday, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Executive Board member Muhamed Begagić and head of the club licensing department Adnan Džemidžić presented financial contributions to the Bradarac, Dizdarević, Halač, Halilović, and Isaković families.

- We visited all five families of the deceased miners and presented them with assistance which, I hope, will be beneficial to them. The Executive Board, led by President Elvedin Begić, is always ready to help the most vulnerable, so we also established a fund for those affected in the flood-stricken areas, and we are here for the miners' families as well - said Begagić.

- In addition to regular activities, the BiH FA also takes care of the social dimension of the society we live in. This initiative also shows what the Association does and what it will do in the future, because other segments of society are important to us, not just sports results - stated Džemidžić.

Each family of the deceased miners received financial assistance in the amount of 2,000.00 KM.
