NS BiH gets a modern, functional and attractive building

One of the successful business moves of the management of NS/FS BiH in the past year was the purchase of a new office building with an area of 5,900 m2. This facility, which belonged to the Geodetic Institute of BiH, is located in the Sarajevo municipality of Novi Grad on Bulevar Meše Selimovića, and was purchased through a court sale at a public auction, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

At the session of the Executive Board of NS/FS BiH held in December last year, the „Preliminary design for remediation, reconstruction and adaptation“ of the facility was presented for the first time, into which the Association's administration should move in the second half of this year. In addition to its own funds, for the purchase and renovation of the office building, part of the funds of NS/FS BiH was secured through the UEFA investment project and the FIFA development fund.

The largest part of the space of the new House of Football will be used by NS/FS BiH, and it is planned that the part that exceeds the needs of the Association will be rented out.

Secretary General Jasmin Baković pointed out that the House of Football with its surroundings should primarily be functional, modern, and attractive and appealing to football fans but also to all other people.

Among other things, there will be a congress center with three halls, a museum, a trophy room, a fan shop, a restaurant, an underground garage, outdoor parking spaces, a fountain, green areas, etc. The office spaces will be aligned with the needs of the General Secretariat. It is important to say that all bodies of the Association as well as the entire administration will have excellent working conditions.

It is planned that the public tender for the contractor will be announced in March, and after this procedure is completed, concrete works on the reconstruction and adaptation of the new office building of the Association will begin.

Here you can see what the exterior design of the „House of Football“ will look like after the reconstruction is completed.
