484 new cases in BiH, 26 deaths reported

(Patria) - In Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past 24 hours, a total of 2,400 samples were tested, of which 484 were positive for COVID-19.

A total of 26 deaths were reported.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 1,693 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 324 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases have been registered in all cantons/counties in the Federation of BiH.

A total of 1,030,329 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 184,183 people.

In the past 24 hours, 15 people died in the Federation of BiH, from Bosanskopodrinjski, Srednjobosanski, Zeničko-dobojski, Tuzlanski, and Sarajevo Cantons.

The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 7,371.

In the last 24 hours, 567 laboratory samples were tested at the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Srpska, the University Clinical Center of RS, the University Hospital in Foča, and the hospitals of St. Vračevi in Bijeljina and St. Apostle Luka in Doboj, and the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 132 people.

These are 55 men and 77 women, of whom 25 are younger, 67 are middle-aged, and 40 are older.

In the last 24 hours, ten deaths were reported to the Institute of Public Health of RS. These are six men and four women, middle-aged and older, from Bijeljina, Čelinac, Gradiška, Kozarska Dubica, Mrkonjić Grad, Novi Grad, Prijedor, Prnjavor, Teslić, and Zvornik.

So far, 93,182 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the Republic of Srpska, and a total of 5,454 people have died who tested positive for the coronavirus.

A total of 371,111 people have been tested in the Republic of Srpska.

The total number of hospitalized in the Republic of Srpska is 381, at the University Clinical Center of RS there are 152, and in other hospitals there are 229. There are 47 people on ventilators (31 at the University Clinical Center of RS, 16 in other hospitals).

In Brčko District of BiH, 28 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered after testing 140 samples, and one person died.
