Novalić's New Year's Wishes: More Jobs, Better Healthcare, Social Security...

On the occasion of the New Year, BiH officials sent numerous congratulations to the citizens of BiH, wishing that 2017 be a better and more prosperous year, writes the Patria News Agency.

The Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Fadil Novalić, has a special message for the citizens, stating that reforms encompassing every segment of society are the only way out of economic and social difficulties.

- Therefore, it is quite clear that in 2017 we must decisively continue the initiated processes, as it is our obligation and commitment. We owe this to the current, and even more so to the future generations, for whom we want to create conditions to live from their own work in their country. More jobs, greater economic and social security, better healthcare, more modern education are the goals we strive for and must achieve through the implementation of measures from the Reform Agenda. In this way, we are simultaneously bringing Bosnia and Herzegovina closer to the European Union, where we belong.

Convinced that each of us will contribute to these goals, I sincerely congratulate all Bosnians and Herzegovinians on the New Year 2017. Also, I wish that the upcoming year brings you and your loved ones good health, happiness, and fills you with optimism - says Prime Minister Novalić's congratulatory message.

Željko Komšić and the Democratic Front sent a New Year's greeting in which they wished citizens, above all, good health, joy, and celebration with family and friends.

- We wish all citizens of our country a better tomorrow, a tomorrow in which everyone will have equal rights and a dignified life. Our fight for a unified Bosnia and Herzegovina and a better life for its citizens will continue, and we hope that 2017 will be a year of prosperity, more stable relations, and a brighter future - it is stated.

- I extend congratulations to all citizens on the occasion of the New Year 2017. I wish everyone good health, happiness, private and professional success, and life in peace and harmony. The past year, unfortunately, was marked by various conflicts at the global level and political turmoil in our country, and I hope that the next year will be a year of peace and prosperity for us.

Our priority should be peace and stability, good relations with neighbors, and an improved political climate that will inevitably lead to economic and social progress. The political imperative should be to ensure equal rights and a dignified life for all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. There will always be trials and obstacles, but we must persevere in our fight for a better tomorrow, we must build a society of equality and equity, and preserve Bosnia and Herzegovina, the country of all citizens who live in it - it is stated.
