(Patria) - The Hydrometeorological Institute of Republika Srpska detected an earthquake last night at 11 PM, 25 kilometers west of Trebinje, the entity institute announced.
"On February 24, 2021, the network of seismological stations of the Republican Hydrometeorological Institute of RS located an earthquake at 11:07 PM local time, with a magnitude of ML=4.1 Richter units and an estimated intensity in the epicentral zone of 6 degrees on the Mercalli scale, in the Dubrovnik region," the RS institute stated.
An earthquake of this intensity can cause damage to less well-built and older structures, and can be felt by the population.
