New letter from genuine SDP members to Nikšić and Šteta: It's too late for corrections in Novi Grad, you'll get the invoice on October 6

(Patria) - The Patria News Agency has received a new open letter signed by genuine members of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In this letter, they address the SDP Municipal Organization of Novi Grad Sarajevo, and remind of the non-statutory behavior of the SDP leadership in the case of 27 members of this organization.

A well-known sentence by our Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić, which so beautifully describes the current state of the SDP Municipal Organization of Novi Grad Sarajevo. You look at all that pre-election material with which this Municipal Organization has been showering potential voters of Novi Grad these days, and you don't know whether to laugh or cry.

From the list holder Abel Baltić, who smiles roguishly from jumbo posters, as if telling the public "you've forgotten what I did as director of the Health Center," or the slogan of these local elections chosen by the SDP "We continue responsibly," to the collapsed Trojka pre-election rally in Dobrinja.

And then the video material in which the proven socialist Abel Baltić bravely strides while the sounds of the Italian partisan song from World War II, Bella ciao, play in the background. You watch, read, listen, and you can't believe your eyes or your ears.

So, the imposed acting president of the SDP Municipal Organization of Novi Grad Sarajevo will now enter the fight against poverty, nepotism, social inequality even more firmly and decisively, and on every corner (and street corner) of this most populous municipality in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he will continue to spread the idea of social democracy even more responsibly. He knows well how it's done. And he knows how, because he has already practically proven it while he was director of the Health Insurance Institute of Sarajevo Canton, and that's why he will continue even more responsibly.

What kind of activists are those who invite all three party presidents of the Trojka to a central rally, where the joint candidate for mayor of Novi Grad Municipality, Mirza Selimbegović, was promoted, with the presence of only a few dozen passersby, if we exclude the candidates on the list for the Municipal Council, and not even all of them came to attend this esteemed rally? Shame and humiliation of those party presidents by the irresponsible leadership of the municipal organizations. Shame and humiliation of the joint candidate for mayor, who had the courage to stand up to the current mayor. Sad to watch.

Looking from the perspective of the SDP Municipal Organization of Novi Grad Sarajevo, this is not surprising, given that this once potent SDP Municipal Organization has been shaken over the past year by affairs of non-transparent staffing of individuals by the Hadžić couple, the non-statutory removal of the entire SDP Municipal Committee of Novi Grad Sarajevo, or the affair of the non-statutory expulsion of six members of this organization from SDP membership in order to make room for the virtuoso Abel Baltić to be the list holder and thus secure his guaranteed entry into the Municipal Council.

The clan gathered around Damir and Alma Hadžić does not support the Trojka's joint candidate for mayor (that's an open secret), but lies and intrigues in their own way, so that Mirza has the worst possible election result! In the same way, they undermine the honorable candidates on the SDP list for the Municipal Council, creating small groups that work on the principle of "with everyone and against everyone," all with the aim of ensuring the passage of the dream team "the trio Baltić, Bojčić, Selimović" into the council. This
way of working has already created great distrust among the candidates on the list.

Surely after this, President Nikšić should understand, and Adnan Šteta should have seen the light by now, that Damir Hadžić and Abel Baltić have been leading them by the nose all this time, and that they do not "have under control," as they claimed, this SDP organization. It should have been a year ago, when the honorable members of the SDP Municipal Committee of Novi Grad Sarajevo pointed out the dirty and dishonorable actions of this duo, that Nikšić reacted and dealt with the problem within this organization. But he didn't! He and a group of his close associates supported precisely this duo. Now, President Nikšić and President of the Municipal Committee Šteta, it's too late for any corrections, and the real invoice will be delivered on October 6 when the voting takes place. So, taste what you have cooked up.
