New letter from border police officers to institutions: How Galić and his men are working against BiH!?

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Border police officers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who want and wish to perform their mission, are left with informing the competent institutions about the inaction at the top of the Border Police and asking them to do something.

This is not the first letter, nor is it the first time that border guards have appealed and pleaded for the state to start defending itself and to be allowed to work. The media and the entire public have been facing evidence of inaction and anti-state activities in the management of the Border Police for years. It seems that only the Prosecutor's Office and the Ministry of Security of BiH do not see it.

Thus, BiH border guards have sent a new letter, this time to the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH, and the Office for the Fight against Corruption.

The Patria News Agency publishes the letter from the members of the Border Police addressed to the aforementioned institutions:

“We are providing you with this information because it concerns one of the most pressing problems of this country - the migrant crisis. We are providing it to the Ministry of Security of BiH due to its jurisdiction regarding the migrant crisis. We are providing it to the HJPC BiH because we do not want to provide it directly to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH. Everything that comes to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH concerning Zoran Galić, director of the BP BiH, is assigned by Gordana Tadić to one of her prosecutors who do everything to ensure that nothing is done.

Therefore, if the HJPC has jurisdiction, let it forward and monitor the work on this very important information.

We are providing the information to the Office for the Fight against Corruption and Quality Management so that they can become aware of what the director of a police agency is doing, especially an agency that is most important when it comes to the migrant crisis.

What it is about: Given that there has been a lot of talk and writing recently about the director of the Border Police of BiH, Zoran Galić, working for the Republic of Croatia when it comes to the migrant crisis, in the sense that through police officers loyal and devoted to him, he allows Croatian police to transfer migrants to the territory of BiH from the territory of the Republic of Croatia, without respecting any procedures, i.e., in an illegal manner. So far, it has been said that these activities are mainly carried out in the northwestern area, the Bihać area. Galić denies the above in his statements, stating that he works according to the law, guards the border both at the entrance to BiH and at the exit from BiH.

However, the following information indicates that Galić is indeed working for the Republic of Croatia.

He also organized such activities in the area covered by the Doljani Border Police Unit. He recently appointed Ivan Mišetić, the then commander of the Gorica Border Police Unit, as the commander of that unit. The police of the Republic of Croatia return all migrants found in the territory of the Republic of Croatia, even at the exits towards Slovenia, and bring these same migrants to the border area of BiH, from Neum to Vrgorac, by dropping them off at the very border line on the territory of BiH.

The coordination of these activities is carried out by the commander of the Croatian Border Police with the commander of the Doljani Border Police Unit, Ivan Mišetić.

Mišetić sends patrols that take these migrants to Mostar, to the bus station on the left bank. At the beginning of such a procedure, an official note was made by a police officer who saw that illegal activities were taking place. Mišetić subsequently banned such writing. Then he selected police officers who acted according to his instructions, mostly police officers of Croatian nationality and a few of Serbian nationality. He did this to protect these criminal acts, all according to the agreement between director Galić and the director of the Republic of Croatia. The MUP HNK Mostar reacted to such actions of leaving migrants at the bus station in Mostar, as these occurrences became frequent.

Furthermore, it is not uncommon for Croatian police officers to install surveillance cameras on the territory of BiH, along the very border line with the Republic of Croatia.

In one of these cases, a police officer from the Doljani Border Police Unit found cameras near the Crveni Grm border crossing and took them, making an official note.

Since the arrival of commander Mišetić in the Doljani Border Police Unit, the way of working has visibly changed, with commander Mišetić having rudely removed all Bosniak police officers in the leadership of the unit, so they have no insight into his aforementioned criminal activities. He then formed patrols of compliant Croats and Serbs loyal to him. Furthermore, Mišetić unilaterally and illegally banned the entry of documents into the DMS (document management system), most of which are official notes about events that occur during police officers' shifts, where his compliant shift leaders either do not record these events or record them in a falsified manner, which is an obvious abuse of position and obstruction of police officers' work, which they do not dare to report out of fear.

There are several cases where migrants are brought to the premises of the Border Police at the Doljani Border Police Unit without noting where they were returned from, their injuries are not recorded, and their personal belongings (mobile phones, money, etc.) are confiscated from them.

In these ways, Mišetić has completely taken control of everything that could expose these criminal activities. Well thought out, but still recognized by police officers. Mišetić synchronizes these activities with the Gorica Border Police Unit, where acting commander of PGP Gorica, Ivica Sabljo, carries out these activities.

The head of TU West, Viktorija Damjanović, is implementing the exact same strategy.

Some Bosniak police officers are also aware of such actions, and in return for loyalty, they receive incentives and promotions to higher ranks... Mišetić was thus intentionally brought in by Galić and Vladimir Popović, Galić's closest associate, to carry out such illegal and criminal activities related to the migrant crisis, all with the aim of destabilizing the state of BiH. The claims in this information are verifiable, and there are ways to confirm and prove their accuracy,” the letter stated.
