Journalist Vladimir Kovačević released from hospital for home treatment

BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - BN TV journalist Vladimir Kovačević has been released from the Banja Luka hospital and sent for home treatment.

- Kovačević is in stable health condition, he has been sent for home treatment and rest - said the General Director of the University Clinical Center Banja Luka, Vlado Đajić, reports BN TV.

We remind you that two unknown young men brutally beat BN TV journalist Vladimir Kovačević on Sunday in the Obilićevo settlement in Banja Luka, as he was returning home from the newsroom.

The attack happened when two men ambushed him and hit him on the head and body with extendable metal rods.

Journalists in Banja Luka, Sarajevo, Mostar, Zenica, Tuzla held protest gatherings in support of their beaten colleague Kovačević, while numerous officials condemned the attack.
