16 new coronavirus cases in Republika Srpska

BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - 16 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Republika Srpska, said the Minister of Health and Social Protection of Republika Srpska Alen Šeranić at a press conference following the session of the Republika Srpska Headquarters for Emergency Situations held today in Banja Luka.

Šeranić said that 50 samples were tested, of which 16 are positive for the coronavirus. These are ten women and six men. He stated that nine cases are related to the third cluster in Banja Luka.

"Three of these 16 are from Banja Luka, but they are related to individual cases," he said.

This brings the total number of infected people in Republika Srpska to 45.

Šeranić said that none of the infected are life-threatening.
