New snow in BiH, cold weather worsens symptoms for patients

Bosnia and Herzegovina is expected to have mostly cloudy weather. In the lowlands, rain is expected, and in higher areas, sleet and snow, reports the Patria news agency.

- In the lowlands of northwestern and central Bosnia, sleet and snow are possible. In southern Herzegovina, no precipitation. Wind moderate to strong, from the north and northwest. Morning temperature from -3 to 5, in the south up to 8, and the highest daily temperature from -1 to 8, in the south up to 12 degrees Celsius - said the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute.

The cold weather accompanied by precipitation and northern air currents will cause increased symptoms in rheumatics, asthmatics, and people with blood vessel diseases. It is advisable to reduce time spent outdoors and avoid strenuous physical activities. In the south, it will be more pleasant, with more sun, though chilly and with bora wind, which will cause problems for sensitive individuals.
