(Patria) - The Head of the Department for Diplomatic Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mirsad Bešić, on September 2, 2024, received the copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Luigi Soreca, it was announced from the Public Relations Office of the MFA BiH.
Soreca succeeds Johann Sattler as the head of the EU in BiH.
Interestingly, this Italian diplomat, like his Austrian colleague, comes to the position in BiH from the post of EU Ambassador to Albania.
Sattler is from today the EU Ambassador to Podgorica.
