New meeting at the US Embassy: Agreement between BiH and Croatia to be concluded as soon as possible for pipeline construction to begin in 2026.

(Patria) - The US Embassy in Sarajevo today organized a meeting on the Southern Interconnection with representatives of coalition parties in the Federation of BiH at the working level.

This meeting followed a meeting with political leaders held on November 20.

US Embassy Meeting Concluded: Southern Interconnection Construction to Begin ASAP, US Company to Operate Pipeline

(Patria) - Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in BiH John Ginkel met today in Sarajevo with five leaders of the ruling coalition in the Federation of BiH to accelerate progress on the key Southern Interconnection project, the American Embassy announced this evening.

All parties agreed that it is urgent for the construction of the Southern Interconnection gas pipeline to begin in 2026, and that in order to achieve this, an agreement between BiH and Croatia needs to be harmonized and concluded as soon as possible, to enable the import of American liquefied natural gas into BiH.
