(Patria) - A new meeting of coalition partners forming the state-level government will be held on September 25, hosted by HDZ BiH.
As stated by HDZ BiH President Dragan Čović, the meeting will be held at the HDZ BiH House. Several laws that need to be harmonized will be on the agenda.
"To agree on what the Council of Ministers of BiH should adopt, what the House of Representatives should adopt. I don't think projects with a negative character will affect this meeting of ours. I am convinced that we will have new laws through the ninth and tenth months. I think we will quickly reach the Election Law, but likewise the law on the Constitutional Court," said Čović.
He announced that at this meeting, they will also specify the deadline for reaching an agreement on the Election Law.
We remind you that the SNSD president, Milorad Dodik, announced last week that no more laws will be adopted until the issue of the BiH Constitutional Court is resolved. Dodik demands that foreign judges be removed from the BiH Constitutional Court and that "entity voting" be introduced.
On the other hand, SDP, NIP, and Our Party do not agree that it is time for foreign judges to leave the BiH Constitutional Court.
Such a stance was also taken by the American Ambassador Michael Murphy, who told Face that the Constitutional Court cannot become an ethnic institution as Dodik and Čović wish, and that foreign judges should still be in the BiH Constitutional Court.
