New Proposals for Ministers, Confirmation of the CS Government on March 3?

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The candidate for Prime Minister of the Sarajevo Canton, Mario Nenadić, submitted on Tuesday a new document to the Speaker of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly with a proposal of candidates for ministers in the Sarajevo Canton Government, where Draško Jeličić is proposed as Minister of Economy of the Sarajevo Canton, and Jasna Agić as Minister of Labor, Social Policy, Displaced Persons and Refugees. The earlier proposals were Goran Maškić, proposed by the DF, and Tea Mušić, proposed by the SBB. 

The names of the other candidates for ministers in the Sarajevo Canton Government remain the same. 

The list of candidates will be forwarded to the Commission for Elections and Appointments, which previously did not give consent for the proposed list of candidates. At the session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly to be held on February 25, a new composition of the Commission for Elections and Appointments will be proposed. 

Elmedin Konaković, Chairman of the Commission for Elections and Appointments, told NAP that he does not believe the Commission will reconsider the new list, but rather that they will wait until February 25, when new members of the Commission will be appointed.

"I am sick of this circus and we do not want to be accomplices in this process," Konaković told NAP.

A session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly has also been scheduled for March 3, when the proposal for the Sarajevo Canton Budget for 2020 will be considered. According to information obtained by the Patria News Agency, the new Sarajevo Canton Government could also be confirmed that day. When asked by Patria whether this would happen on March 3, the Speaker of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, Mirza Čelik, replied that the Assembly Collegium would handle the supplement to the agenda.
