New President of SDA Main Board Safet Softić, Halid Genjac Elected Secretary General

(Patria) - The constitutive session of the Main Board (GO) of SDA was held, at which the mandates of GO members elected at the 8th SDA Congress and ex-officio GO members were verified.

At the session, 15 GO members from the list proposed by the SDA president were also elected.

The newly elected GO members are Safet Kešo, Faruk Kapidžić, Midhat Čaušević, Jasmina Biščević-Tokić, Ines Delić, Hamdija Abdić, Bisera Turković, Ivica Šarić, Safet Softić, Sedad Dedić, Saša Lukić, Ibrahim Nadarević, Jasmin Spahić, Emir Poljo and Elvira Dilberović.

Safet Softić was elected President of the Main Board, and his deputies are Alija Tabaković, Ivica Šarić, Saša Lukić and Erna Merdić Smailhodžić.

Halid Genjac was elected to the position of Secretary General of SDA.

The Main Board also elected the remaining 17 members of the SDA Presidency.

The newly elected members of the Presidency are: Šefik Džaferović, Eldar Čomor, Šemsudin Dedić, Fahrudin Skopljak, Esed Kadrić, Miralem Galijašević, Tahir Lendo, Hikmet Hodžić, Nijaz Hušić, Smiljana Viteškić, Mirela Mateša Bukva, Anes Osmanović, Atif Hadžidedić, Ramiz Šemić, Nedžad Bešić, Mirudin Dugonjić and Ibrahim Drljević.

The SDA Main Board also unanimously adopted a conclusion condemning the violence against the residents of Gaza, violations of international law and the right to life of the civilian population, and fully supporting the United Nations Resolution on the establishment of a humanitarian ceasefire.
