NEW RISE: 512 new coronavirus cases recorded

(Patria) - In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 512 new coronavirus cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, with a total of 2,796 samples tested. 16 people died, according to data from the entity public health institutes and the Brčko District.

A day earlier, 2,578 samples were tested in BiH, of which 402 were new infections. 17 people died.

In the past 24 hours, 1,949 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 382 tested positive for the coronavirus.

New cases were registered in all cantons of the Federation of BiH, except for Bosnian-Podrinje and Posavina.

In the past 24 hours, 11 new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH. As of today, the number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 2,620.

So far, a total of 435,785 samples have been tested, and the coronavirus has been confirmed in 82,618 people.

As of today, 75,702 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH. In the past 24 hours, 11 patients have recovered. Currently, there are 4,296 active cases of coronavirus infection.

Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in the Republic of Srpska, in the last 24 hours, testing of 791 laboratory samples was carried out at the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Srpska, the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska, the University Hospital in Foča, and the hospitals Sv. Vračevi in Bijeljina and Sv. Apostol Luka in Doboj, and the coronavirus was confirmed in 122 people. These include 61 men and 61 women, 10 younger, 75 middle-aged, and 37 elderly individuals.

In the last 24 hours, five deaths with confirmed coronavirus presence were reported to the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Srpska. These are elderly individuals, two from Vukosavlje and one each from Banja Luka, Teslić, and Čelinac.

So far, 42,141 cases of the virus have been confirmed in the Republic of Srpska, and a total of 2,202 people with confirmed coronavirus tests have died.

In the Republic of Srpska, 33,664 people have recovered from this virus so far, and 195,376 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized patients in the Republic of Srpska is 471, with 175 in the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska and 296 in general hospitals. Currently, 3,164 people are under health surveillance, and surveillance has been completed for 137,965 people.

In the Brčko District of BiH, 56 samples were tested for the coronavirus, of which eight were positive. One person recovered, so there are currently 198 active cases of infection.
