NEW ATTEMPT Public hearing of BHANSA management scheduled for February 11

(Patria) - The Commission for Transport and Communications of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA) has scheduled a public hearing for Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at
1:00 PM (room 1/I) with the management of BHANSA.

The public hearing of the BHANSA management has been scheduled so that the Commission for Transport and Communications of the House of Representatives of the BiH PA can obtain necessary information about the work and operations of BHANSA. The goal of the public hearing is to determine why the BHANSA management, contrary to the Law on Parliamentary Oversight, refuses to attend Commission sessions and why the requested materials on financial operations and employees at BHANSA have not been submitted to the Commission even after reminders, then to verify whether BHANSA is acting in accordance with the Law on BHANSA, and to review the work and operations of BHANSA in the period from January 1, 2024, to November 26, 2025.

The decision to conduct a public hearing of the Director of the Air Navigation Services Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Davorin Primorac, and two deputy directors, Sanjin
Hadžiomerović and Tomislav Marinković, was made at the 33rd session of the Commission for Transport and Communications of the House of Representatives, held on November 26, 2025.

The Commission also decided at its 35th session, held on January 20, 2026, to invite the Chairperson of the BHANSA Council, Sanja Škuletić-Malagić, to the public hearing.

We remind you that Primorac and the two deputies did not appear at the public hearing on January 20, and two days prior, a notice arrived at the Commission from the director's office stating that the entire management was on sick leave.

BHANSA announced that they have lost several air traffic controllers, which complicates the operations of this agency. Although the Council of Ministers of BiH gave its consent to the amendments to the BHANSA Rulebook, which allow for salary and compensation increases, it was not enough to retain air traffic controllers in BiH, as they decided to take jobs in Qatar or another country where salaries for this job are significantly higher.
