New head of Trnovo RS municipality is Dragomir Gagović from SNSD, numerous irregularities noted during voting

According to preliminary and unofficial results reported by observers from the "Pod lupom" (Under the Microscope) Coalition from regular polling stations, the new head of the Trnovo RS municipality is Dragomir Gagović (SNSD). Dragomir Gagović won 59.1 percent of the votes, while his opponent Nenad Mišović (SDS) won 40.9 percent of the votes.

This does not include votes received by mail and through the mobile team, but the difference between the candidates is large enough that these votes cannot affect the final election results.

Voting in today's early elections for the head of the Trnovo RS municipality proceeded without major incidents, but with several observed irregularities.

The most significant irregularities were recorded at the polling station named Tvornica drveta (Wood Factory) (142B002), where a large number of cases of assistance in voting were recorded for individuals who clearly did not need such assistance, pressure on voters in front of the polling station and persuasion to vote for a specific candidate, the presence of unauthorized persons, and at least one case of voting on behalf of another person and family voting. There is suspicion that voters at this polling station also used mobile phones to photograph their ballots in three cases, which is prohibited. Local officials from both parties were seen immediately in front of this polling station.

Family voting and people being turned away from the polling station because they were not on the excerpt from the Central Voter Register for that polling station were recorded at the remaining polling stations.

Due to the aforementioned irregularities, observers from the "Pod lupom" Coalition entered two remarks on the work of the polling board. The Coalition calls on the Municipal Election Commission of Trnovo RS and the Central Election Commission of BiH to seriously and responsibly consider all remarks received from observers in order to respect the electoral will of the citizens and voters.

According to observer reports, all polling stations were closed by 7:15 PM. The closing of polling stations, including the processes of vote counting and packaging of election materials, was carried out in accordance with applicable regulations.
