The new song and video by Dino Merlin, "Školjka", the biggest music star of these regions, has gathered over 300,000 views on the YouTube video service in less than four days, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).
The song is the lead single from the new album "Hotel Nacional", which comes after almost six years. Dino Merlin, on the occasion of the release of the new album, also announced a big tour next year and a big concert at the Asim Ferhatović Hase Stadium in Sarajevo, NAP reports.
The video was filmed in September 2013 in Sarajevo, Mostar, Počitelj, Neum, Hutovo blato, and Marina Frapa. Dino Merlin did the music, while the lyrics are by Džemaludin Latić. The arrangement was done by Dino's colleague from the previous album, David Vurdelja (Baby Dooks), who is known for his work on the song "Dabogda".
The final production was done in the renowned London studio - Nevo studios together with Yoad Nevo - a producer who has worked with artists such as Pet Shop Boys, Morcheeba, Sugababes... The director of the video was Aladin Hasić. Animations were done by Ivan Ramadan, and illustrations and dialogues by Damir Nikšić.
