BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - In Republika Srpska, 31 new cases of coronavirus have been registered, said the Minister of Health and Social Protection of Republika Srpska, Alen Šeranić, at a press conference in Banja Luka.
These are 19 men and 12 women. Fourteen are middle-aged, five are younger. This brings the total number of infected people in RS to 90. He emphasized that they are middle-aged. Three people are at the Clinical Center, and the rest are in home isolation. Nine people are linked to the Banja Luka cluster, while three people returned from travel.
"We have a problem because people are not providing complete and truthful information. This is a big problem. I ask those who come for test results to provide us with adequate information, whether it concerns contacts. Not providing accurate information is a criminal offense," said Šeranić, adding that those who violate self-isolation will go to quarantine.
Šeranić said that 118 samples were tested, of which five were from Brčko District. Of the 113 from RS, 31 samples are positive.
He stated that 13,763 people are under health supervision, reminding that one doctor from UKC RS is positive for the virus.
"Staff at UKC who were in contact with him were tested, and all tests are negative," said Šeranić.
The Minister emphasized that it is very important to respect the prohibition measures, primarily by avoiding social contact and maintaining hygiene.
Pharmacies will be open from 8 AM to 6 PM, until 1 PM on weekends, while on-call pharmacies will work 24 hours.
