New messages from Munjić's phone: Nermin had to give the Highways to HDZ for you to be FUP director

“You have been appointed,” read the message that FUP official Muhamed Ohranović sent to Vahidin Munjić on May 17, 2023.

Previously, “Korman was dismissed,” and the FBiH Government appointed Munjić as FUP director “for a period of three months with the possibility of extension.”

“That’s how it will be stated in the Decision. Excellent,” Ohranović wrote, Istraga.ba published new correspondence from Vahidin Munjić's phone.

“Great. Stop by and thank you, Muhamed,” replied Vahidin Munjić, who thus took over the position of acting director of FUP.

A few minutes later, Muhamed Ohranović writes again.

“SDA loses its first director. HDZ's Denis Lasić will be acting director of Autoceste FBiH,” read the headline of an article on the Raport portal, the link to which Muhamed Ohranović sent to Vahidin Munjić.

“Nermin had to give this for them to approve your name. I believe that for him it is also 3+ like for you. Which is good. After three months, they won't hesitate for your extension because they will ask for the same for Lasić. I’ve been in this too long, Munja. It’s just that characters like Hafizović underestimate me. I convinced you that Nikšić is a man of his word, and you were suspicious. He’s not Fadil,” read a series of messages that Muhamed Ohranović sent to Vahidin Munjić.

“I believe you, but the day I was at his place, I saw that he was a simple man,” Munjić replied.

This was about twenty days after Nermin Nikšić was imposed as the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH. Muhamed Ohranović, an FUP police officer, was the coordinator between the Prime Minister's cabinet and the Federal Police Administration from the very first day of Nikšić's mandate.

Three months later, Nikšić asked Munjić to arrest someone at Autoceste FBiH.

“If we could catch some criminal. Are they working on the Highways issue,” Nikšić wrote in a message to Vahidin Munjić sent on August 25, 2023.

What followed, we have already published. Former members of the management of Autoceste were arrested. HDZ's Denis Lasić was not, although he was the responsible Minister of Transport during the “disputed period.” The prosecutor was Spomenko Jukić from the HNK Prosecutor's Office. His wife, Davorka Jukić, was subsequently promoted to secretary of the Ministry of Education in the Government of the Federation of BiH. Vahidin Munjić continued to carry out Prime Minister Nikšić's orders without question.

Nermin Nikšić was appointed Prime Minister of the Federation on April 28, 2023. Nine days earlier, citizen Nermin Nikšić, president of SDP, was rushing from Sarajevo towards Herzegovina. At the entrance to the Gaj tunnel on the highway from Sarajevo to Konjic, the speed limit is 100 km/h. Nikšić was driving his VW Tiguan at 162 km/h.

When, almost a year later, the notice of the offense arrived, Nikšić's chief of staff, Arijana Huseinović Ajanović, sent a photo of the document to Vahidin Munjić, acting director of the Federal Police Administration.

Half an hour later, at 11:30, Vahidin Munjić called Arijana Huseinović Ajanović.

Half an hour later, Vahidin Munjić sent Nikšić's fine to Džafer Hrvat, an official of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs who is close to Elvedin Grabovica.

“Džafer, when you finish that for me, let me know,” Munjić wrote.

Munjić, therefore, after receiving the request from Nikšić's chief of staff, “undertook” actions to save the prime minister who appointed him from losing his driver's license.

In the same period, Nermin Nikšić also appointed Munjić's cousin, Safet Trakić, to the position of executive director of BH Pošta. We previously published correspondence between Vahidin Munjić, Muhamed Ohranović, and Arijana Huseinović-Ajanović regarding Trakić's appointment. Now we present correspondence between Trakić and Munjić, from which it is clear that Munjić arranged everything with Prime Minister Nikšić and that, through Trakić, he hired individuals connected to FUP officials.

Shortly before Safet Trakić's appointment, Munjić was again asked to get involved.

Safet Trakić, December 5, 2023: “Vahidin, the new supervisory board in BH Pošta will be confirmed on Friday, so the appointment of the new Management will proceed quickly. Please, if you have the opportunity, urge again in important places. I see many are lobbying, everyone is up in arms.”

Vahidin Munjić: “Alright, Sajo. Also, let me ask you, I have a neighbor, a cleaner, Samko Harbinj, working for you, so see if you can do anything for her to stay.”

Safet Trakić: “Okay, of course. I need to see which post office she is in and until when. We'll sort it out.”

Vahidin Munjić: “I think she's at the station.”

Safet Trakić: “Okay, I'll check now.”

Safet Trakić was appointed executive director of BH Pošta on December 12, 2023. The decision was signed by the Prime Minister of the Federation, Nermin Nikšić. He does not have the status of a suspect in POSKOK.
