New troubles for BiH citizens: Red weather alert activated, 100 liters of rain per square meter!

According to meteorologists' forecasts, BiH citizens can expect new troubles starting tomorrow, writes the Patria News Agency.

A red weather alert has been activated for the Herzegovina region, and an orange alert for most of Bosnia and due to heavy rainfall expected tomorrow.

- In Bosnia and Herzegovina tomorrow, it will be cloudy with rain. In Bosnia, between 10 and 30 liters of precipitation per square meter are expected, and locally up to 50 liters in central and western areas. In Herzegovina, between 40 and 80 liters are expected, with locally up to 100 liters of rain per square meter - according to the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute.

Given that similar forecasts were issued in May when floods with catastrophic consequences hit BiH, panic has spread among citizens, and security measures are being taken in settlements with houses located in close proximity to rivers.
