New Orders from the FBiH Crisis Headquarters, Closure of Kindergartens Ordered

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Crisis Headquarters of the Federal Ministry of Health today issued a new, stricter Order to the crisis headquarters of cantonal ministries of health. This order, dated March 12, replaces the order from yesterday, March 11, and we are publishing it in its entirety:

1. Cantonal crisis headquarters are ordered to issue an order to suspend classes in primary, secondary, and higher education institutions in the canton, for a period of at least 15 days, starting from the date of this order. Deadline: Immediately.

2. Cantonal crisis headquarters are ordered to suspend the operation of kindergartens in the canton, for a period of at least 15 days, starting from the date of this order. Deadline: Immediately.

3. Cantonal crisis headquarters are ordered to suspend cultural and sports events, as well as training sessions in the canton, for a period of at least 15 days, starting from the date of this order. Deadline: Immediately.

4. The population in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as foreign citizens in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, are recommended to strictly adhere to all recommendations of the Crisis Headquarters of the Federal Ministry of Health, i.e., the crisis headquarters of cantonal ministries of health, as well as public health institutes in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in order to protect personal health and public health.

5. All students in primary and secondary schools, as well as students in higher education institutions in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, are recommended to avoid unnecessary movement and gathering in public places while classes are suspended in primary, secondary, and higher education institutions. Parents or legal guardians of minor students are responsible for implementing this recommendation, while for adult students, personal responsibility is stated.

6. All residents in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as foreign citizens in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, are recommended to avoid unnecessary movement and gathering in public places.

7. Managements of healthcare institutions, regardless of ownership, as well as private practices in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, are ordered not to approve travel abroad for healthcare professionals and healthcare associates for any reason. Deadline: Continuous until further notice.

8. All healthcare professionals and healthcare associates in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina are ordered not to leave the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for any reason in the conditions of a changed epidemiological situation, i.e., in conditions when the WHO has declared a pandemic of the new coronavirus (COVID-19). Deadline: Continuous until further notice.

9. We recommend all citizens of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina who live or work in countries affected by the new coronavirus (COVID-19) not to come to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, due to the increased risk of introducing the new coronavirus (COVID-19), which could further worsen the epidemiological situation in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Deadline: Continuous until further notice.

10. This order replaces Order No.: 01-33-1426/20 dated March 11, 2020.

11. This order comes into effect on the date of its adoption," stated the press release from the Crisis Headquarters of the Federal Ministry of Health.
